Bruno Tinucci was born in Livorno in 1947. He started to paint, by chance, in 1969 during the time spent in an hospital were he met another painter and was struck by his works. After his professional rise he has been painting “en plein air” for 13 years with some other Italian artists (Luschi, Mazzi, etc…). He studied the masterpieces of the most important painters of Livorno, finding immediately his own artistic identity. He is a restless painter, with an expressionistic imprint. His works struck for the power of the colours and materials and for the instinctive impression they give. The subjects of his paintings live through the colour. He applies the colour with a precise and perfectly studied collocation. Each stroke of the brush comes from an inner elaboration. His works seem to move, they have a soul of their own, a different cut, a pictorial consistence, a precise weaving. He doesn’t give a great importance to the subject: “a painting can have only two blades of grass: it’s the different passages of colour that give birth to it. The important part is the context in which it’s fitted in and the message the work can transmit.” His landscapes are the expression of a deep greatness, made of different moods, emotions and thoughts. His dearest subjects are landscapes and animals. He loves the suggestive corners of our countryside: armonious trees, sunflowers fields, hills full of poppies, bushes of broom, lakes with water lilies are the protagonists of his paintings as animate things. He has been painting for about fifty years and he still has will to give, thanks to his inner strength. Today, after 50 years, with an important and significant pictorial growth, Tinucci is an artist with a strong interior charge. Bruno Tinucci has participated to the Arte Expo in Bari, Firenze, Palermo, Roma, Vicenza, Ginevra, Padova, Montichiari, Pietrasanta. His paintings are in important collections in Italy and in many foreign countries.
