The great figurative art radiated from Siena and Florence during the Renaissance considered it as indispensable foundation for a viable pictorial figuration, the achieved excellence in the design. We are not surprised, therefore, if in the works of Tommaso Andreini, the results of the quality of design have preceded in time and in intensity the modes of the chromatic expression. In most works of Andreini, the graphic means resolved with certainty safe the invention of the artist, specifying figures and modulations, changing and adding to its language with the intervention of the contribution of chiaroscuro, building with lights and shadows, a suggestion plastic coatings made evident by with shots spatula and finishing treatments to the canvases. In the use of the techniques we are faced with a veritable anthology of ways, from the fragile and wriggling stretch from the plastic use , as in heavy draperies and materials. His painting, through a dreamlike and fanciful language , reverberates surrealist solutions with a personal interpretation iconography inspired by literature, history and mythology.
